Here is what we need to do together for you to earn your PADI Open Water License!
1. Knowledge Development Session
Understand the basic principles of scuba diving! It is very interesting how our body reacts to pressure and we can control your buoyancy using breathing techniques. You will be given a book to study the theories of it but no worries, there is a video to watch if you hate reading. (Link to the video will be given by your instructor). Once you are done studying (or watching), we will meet up for your final theory test where you must score 75% of higher. If you fail, you can retake the test.
2. Pool Session 1 & Pool Session 2 (Klang Valley Area)
In this pool session, you will be learning the practical part of scuba diving, you are required to perform skills underwater with the supervision of your instructor. Scuba diving equipment are included. Here is what you need to bring:
- Swim / dive suits
- Toiletries (For shower after pool session)
- Plenty of water
3. Island Trip
This is where the real test begins. Remember the skills you’ve learnt during your pool session? Now, it’s time to test them in open sea! (Exciting!) You will discuss further with your instructor regarding logistics and the schedule, accommodation, equipment and what to expect.
